Overview

The GW13 neutral point disconnector type isolation switch is designed for use in high-voltage transmission lines under no-load conditions. It provides electrical isolation during the maintenance of circuit breakers and other equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with insulation distance requirements.

This switch meets the standards for "IEC-129" AC isolation switch and the isolating switch(1984)", and earthing switch, providing reliable and safe operation with the added benefits of compact size, simple structure, and easy installation and debugging process. It consists of three monopoles and mechanisms, with each single pole having two post insulators fixed on a base at a 50-degree angle to form a V-type structure. The switch body rotates through a porcelain vase, and the base contains a bevel gear switch. The main circuit is made of copper material with two silver-plated contacts, ensuring high flow capacity. The CS17 manual mechanism used in the operating mechanism is light and flexible, and the mechanical interlocking mechanism between the output shafts ensures safe operation in a specific sequence, preventing potential hazards. Additionally, it can be equipped with an electromagnetic lock to prevent misoperation and can also be fitted with a CJ-11-type electric operating mechanism to accommodate different user requirements.

Service and Installation Conditions

1. The altitude does not exceed 1000m;

2.The ambient air temperature:Maximum +40℃;Minimum:General Area -30℃,Paramos -40℃;

3. The wind pressure does not exceed 700Pa. (corresponding to 34m/s wind speed);

4. The earthquake intensity does not exceed 8 degrees;

5. The working situation is without frequent violent vibration;

6. The installation site of an ordinary type isolator should be kept away  from  gas, smoke  chemical  deposition, salt-spray  fog, dust

and other explosive and corrosive matters that seriously affect the insulation and conduction capability of the isolator.

7. Pollution-proof type isolator is applied to severe filthy conduction areas. However,  there shouldn't be any explosive matters and matters causing a fire.
